Ahh…….September

We made it. And here we are right at the tip of everything Fall wearing shorts and flip flops in 90+ weather. I want to remember this when I am double wrapped in scarves and there is no coat on earth that will keep me warm!

This month has started out nicely. I did at voice over at Phantom Audio (a very cool recording studio) for the Flushing / Bayside Queens episode of Best Places to Live that airs on PBS.

My play Trudy & Mitch got accepted into Emerging Artists Fall New Work Series, so we are in rehearsal for that. The show will go up at TADA! sometime in October; stay tuned for performance dates. Well… date. There is only one performance, but it will be a fantastic one.

I’m directing another reading of The Eve of Beltane by Joe Izen and Coni Koepfinger on Sept 21st. I directed an initial reading last year at the Dramatists Guild and the writers have furthered the play, so we are back at it.

Article 120, which is being written and directed by Charles Nuckolls, is coming along. We are slated for a reading at Dixon Place sometime this month. I’m anxious to get to work on that because the material, although tough, is so important.

And to add fun to an already happy month, I’m back in the tango world. It’s been a longer than planned absence, but now it’s practicas on Saturday with Fran Chesleigh at Dardo Galletto Studios and I can’t wait to see Alicia Cruzado now back from Argentina for class too. And not to forget square dancing with the Times Square Square Dance Club. It’s soooooo much fun y’all!

Have a wonderful month.
