April Is Upon Us

I realized that we are into the first week of April already and the tick tick ticking of time once again flew by me!

However ~ I have made some real progress with my, I think 5th draft now, of In An Instant. I had a reading with my writer’s group and another at The Playground Experiment so I have had constructive feedback from different points of view that has helped clarify where I need to go. And go I must! I am hoping to have a full reading of this completed draft. I think it will need one more pass of edit #6, but I am close. It’s a good feeling.

I have a callback for Hudson Classical Theatre’s summer production of The Importance of Being Earnest on the 15th. I love this play, and I did Cecily Cardew in a wonderful production when I was at the University of Utah, so now I’m up for the role of Miss Prism, Cecily’s governess, coming full circle. I’m wishing myself luck!

Still making strides (no pun intended) with my tango and looking forward to lots of outdoor summer milongas. Just have to be sure I use my older shoes because the cement and pier wooden boards are tough on soles.

Happy Easter ~ Happy Spring!
