Happy to share I’m part of a staged reading of Jen Jarnagin’s fun play, The Bears this Wednesday Aug. 6th at the Tank in NYC. I’ve worked with the director, Abbey Joan Burgess and it’s always nice to come back and work again with good people, while meeting new ones. I’m playing Honey, which we know bears love, however I doubt that has anything to do with her name…or does it?! I do know we’ll all be wearing bear ears, so hopefully the audience will be entertained!

The first 5 scenes of my play In An Instant had a reading at New Ambassadors with a wonderful set of actors. I was very pleased to hear it read and got excellent feedback, especially from audience members who had not heard any previous scenes, so they had fresh unbiased reactions. I am forging ahead with the next scenes and they will be presented at The Playground Experiment on Monday Aug. 25th at the Marjorie Dean Theatre with hopefully the same set of actors.
It’s been a hot grueling summer and I’ve not felt compelled to set out to audition. The heat does not make you feel zippy or fresh, but I know September will be a good month, so I am setting my sights for that and preparing. In the meantime I have The Bears to perform and In An Instant to write!
Stay Cool
