Hearts a flutter this month, for so many reasons, you have to hold your breath at times. But on a happy note, I have the opening of the play I’m directing, Hook, Lie & Sinker, this Thursday February 12th at 7pm….and tonight in this extreme cold weather, we have our tech rehearsal! Oh what we all do for our art, right? Actually it’s supposed to warm up to 0 degrees by 7pm which is about the time I’ll be heading out to the theatre, so lots better than -10 it was this morning.
I have a wonderful cast. The play runs Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 3pm ~ Feb 12-15th at the Steve and Marie Sgournos Theatre at The Players Theatre in Greenwich Village. It’s an iconic spot and fun. 115 Macdougal Street. Lots of action in the Village always.
And I’m very excited about what I’ve done with In An Instant. It’s taken me a while, but I think I’m on the right track – no pun intended (Watkins Glen Race track figures in). I have some pages being read this Wednesday at New Ambassadors Lab and I’m very much looking forward to hearing them.
I hope it warms up enough to audition for something, anything really. Nature is amazing and we need to respect it but I’m ready to thaw a bit and get cracking.
Happy Hearts Day on the 14th and hope love finds you!
