I know everyone feels how fast this year has flown by, and maybe that’s a good thing. No need to go further here….

I’m making real progress with In An Instant, and enjoying realizing that I can take my time because with a play like this ~ at least for this writer ~ it is a slow drip. The turns and twists with these characters need to be natural and not forced. And discovery, or discovering where that takes me, and us, is becoming a treat instead of me panicking.

I’ve had a couple of auditions and have a self tape to do for a short film. And, I just was asked to direct another play! Great way to start 2026. This is another short play festival which will be in February, so stay tuned for all the details once we have our show dates and the actors set.

Most of all, I have an opportunity for another play of mine that I can’t say any more about but my fingers, toes, and eyes are crossed that something magical happens and it gets produced. With incredible people. TBA when it happens.

That’s it. 2025 was an interesting, tough ride and I hope that we all can take a break and gather ourselves, catch our breath and prepare for a wonderful 2026.
