There is excitement in the air, and I don’t know exactly why, but you can feel it. Maybe because the Tony Awards are just around the corner, and it’s warming up, and people are out enjoying the sunshine ~ it’s just great to feel that vibe.
I submitted a short piece for the Mini Plays Magazine, so we’ll see what happens there.
I am still working on In An Instant for a July read with the New Ambassadors. I wish my thoughts would sync better with my available time to write, but it doesn’t always happen like that, and this play has been slow going for me.
I’m continuing my Floor Barre classes and really getting my alignment aligned! It’s the Zena Rommett Technique taught by Jodi Moccia, who is certified to teach this technique and one of Zena’s long time students herself. Jodi is a great teacher. I wish I had taken floor barre classes years ago.
Not too many auditions for me right now, but I am square dancing regularly and have dusted off my Tango shoes. In the nice weather they have tango in Central Park and on the Chelsea Piers. It’s fun.
And June is my birthday month, so maybe that’s why I feel the excitement!
This month will be fun.
