I feel like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, “I’m late, I’m late…” but time continues to elude me.
Nevertheless, this month I look forward to being part of Paul Singleton’s reading of his new play ‘A Singular Set of People’ on the 25th. Paul has worked on this piece and we all are anxious to help bring it to life.
My submission to Faces in America has been accepted, now we all wait to see which monologues are chosen. Fingers crossed.
I am doing something new, on the other side of the stage this month, as House Manager for ‘Strings Attached’ by Carol Bugge, directed by Alexa Kelly. I have worked with Alexa over the years, and actually read one of the roles in this play while it was being developed, and she needed a House Manager – a role I’ve never done, but it’s an interesting way to view an audience to be sure. The play has a wonderful cast, and it runs all month so we all hope good great things for it.
I must get my head back on track to forge ahead with rewrites for ‘In An Instant’ and sometimes having a guillotine over your head makes for good and swift progress so I hope this will be the case.
Fall is my favorite time of year, so I look forward to enjoying that and working well.
