My favorite time of year ~ and I have just been asked to direct a new short play by Kristen Evans for The Secret Theatre’s Short Play Festival next month. The play is Fighting Dogs , and it’s a bit of a thriller. Right now I’ve just begun casting, so fingers crossed that goes well and smoothly.

In addition I had two fantastic sessions with In An Instant ~ at New Ambassadors Lab and at The Playground Experiment. I feel sparked and encouraged and see a thru line, I think, to the plays potential and possibilities. Now I hope I can carve out the inspired time to continue working on it.

A few self tapes, which I know are getting better, but still this actor gets no feedback. It’s frustrating. But I’ll keep submitting.

Looking forward to completing my casting for Fighting Dogs and writing. That’s my plan for September.
