Savoring September 

This is the beginning of my favorite time of year, and I savor every day in September. The month is already off to a happy beginning - I’m back in acting class with Roger Hendricks Simon, and it really doesn’t seem like much time has passed since my last class with him. Fun to have an actor in Roger’s class who took Giles Foreman’s Acting Workshop too, and we are working on a scene from Hamlet, so things are off to a cracking good start.

It’s August!

The summer is flying by ~ it’s been fun and creative so far, here’s to that continuing! I did finish The Snake for the Fear Fest submission, ran it by the writers in my writer’s group, who I encouraged to submit along with me, and they did! It was great fun to read each other’s work.

July 2023

Performing The Importance of Being Earnest was a joy, despite the weather causing a few cancellations, which is the roll of the dice when you do outdoor theatre. However, the outdoor setting was perfect on the remaining days ~ glorious backdrop of Riverside Park, birds chirping, squirrels dancing back and forth, delicious air, and a terrific cast.

June 2023

We opened The Importance of Being Earnest June 1st, to a nice outdoor audience, our stage set amongst the flora, fauna and bird life in Riverside Park that Hudson Classical Theatre Company commands for the summer. It’s beautiful and challenging, because we are at the beck and call of Mother Nature, and the occasional jet plane or ambulance that may or may not go by.

Happy New Year

David Malouf’s play What Say You Boson Q was chosen to be one of 15
short plays in The Player’s Theatre LUV Festival and I’m directing…and
doing the voice of Boson Q. I have wonderful actors to work with and
we are already in rehearsal. The show dates are Thursday - Sunday
February 9 - 12th. 7pm showtime Thursday, Friday & Saturday and 3pm
on Sunday.
